ASHLEY KERVABON-STOYANOV

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER / FOUNDER

Ashley Kervabon-Stoyanov started her music career as a singer & songwriter (previously going by Ashley Xtina) in NYC where she was born & bred , but it wasn't until moving to Portland in 2015 that she realized what her real mission was: writing songs for other artists & helping them advance in their career. She is now pursuing this by leading the organization she created, #WomxnCrush Music. When she's not running #WCM, she's knee-deep in developing tech + media startups, helping creative entrepreneurs put together business strategies, playing with her chiweenie puppy Henry or making travel plans with her hubby. KRYSTAL BEASLEY

HEAD OF DEVELOPMENT

Krystal Beasley is a Bay Area native who started the Bay Area chapters for #WomxnCrush Music in 2018. More recently, she became the Head of Development for #WomxnCrush Music. She is also Independent Arts and Media's Affiliate Program & Communications Manager. As the founder of her own business, Krystal B Creative, she assists musicians with booking, digital marketing, and artist development. Krystal earned a B.A. in Broadcast and Electronic Communication Arts from San Francisco State University. Krystal loves to cook, dance, and travel the world.

DENISE M. KOVALEVICH

PUBLIC RELATIONS DIRECTOR

As the CEO and owner of dmk Publicity, LLC, a full-service PR firm specializing in the music and entertainment industries, Denise develops and executes multifaceted PR campaigns for a variety of clients. Launching her agency in 2014, she has had the pleasure of working with such esteemed artists such as Blues Traveler, Candlebox, Corey Glover (Living Colour), and more. Her expertise in album, EP, and single launches, as well as national and international tour press campaigns, has made her a highly-sought after PR professional. Her exceptional media relationships, which include genres ranging from heavy metal to folk and roots/Americana music, have made her one of the most versatile publicists in the industry today.

TAMAR DAYANIM

MARKETING MANAGER

Tamar Dayanim is based in NYC and currently works in digital marketing and strategy at Spirit Music Group, an independent music publisher. She graduated from the Double Degree Program at Barnard College and the Jewish Theological Seminary, where she studied Political Science and Jewish Law, and gained experience in multiple sectors of the music industry. Tamar has expertise in marketing, social media, sync, events, and artist advocacy. She is very excited to amplify the voices of womxn songwriters and the mission of #WCM as the team’s Marketing head.

MEGAN RIBOVICH

MARKETING COORDINATOR

.Megan Ribovich has been involved in the music scene for over ten years, starting with a marketing internship at AEG Live and expanding to box office and ticketing. She has worked in many of the local Denver, CO music clubs, attending countless concerts. She has experience dealing with concert-goers as well as industry professionals. She has an MBA in marketing from the University of Colorado Denver. She has expertise in digital advertising, marketing, and advertising operations. In her spare time, she enjoys movies, writing, and exercising.

DANIELLE SPIEGEL

MARKETING COORDINATOR

Danielle Spiegel is a student at Drexel University pursuing a B.S. in Music Industry and minoring in Marketing and Communication. Originally from Long Island, NY, she moved from her small hometown to the bustling city of Philadelphia to learn more about the music industry. With a passion for supporting both artists and fans, Danielle’s long-term career goal is to work in either the marketing or publicity department of a record label. Because she is extremely passionate about diversity and inclusion in the music industry, she is very excited to join #WomxnCrushMusic as a Marketing Coordinator.

TAYLOR COIGNE

MARKETING COORDINATOR

Taylor Coigne began her music career at 14 as the bassist of a pop-punk band, where her DIY approach helped foster her interest in marketing and event planning. She later interned with several concert venues throughout New Jersey and Philadelphia, which led to her current position as a sales and marketing coordinator at Live Nation. Her experiences growing up as a female musician have inspired her to advocate for gender parity and work towards creating an inclusive environment for womxn in the music industry. She earned her B.A. in Music Business from Monmouth University.

MARTINA VERANO

PROGRAM COORDINATOR

Martina was born and raised in Manila, Philippines and is currently based out of Valencia, Spain. Armed with a Bachelor of Arts in Arts Management and a Master of Arts in Global Entertainment and Music Business with a focus on the recording industry - she hopes to make positive contributions and waves in the industry. She most recently finished her research on Understanding Genre Fluidity, which was published as an article on Cherie Hue's Water and Music. Martina is also managing Jordanian Funk and R&B artist and producer, NASIR.

EMILY KANG

PROGRAM COORDINATOR

Emily first found her true passion for the music industry when she interned as an artist manager at an indie record label. From there, she worked as an A&R ambassador, talent scout, artist liaison, booking agent, and a social media and outreach coordinator. In 2020, she worked at #iVoted Festival, which produced the largest, single-night digital festival in history with over 450 artists including Billie Eilish, 3OH!3, and Bowling for Soup. She is currently working at Climate Live, an international festival which will host several virtual and live shows in cities around the world to raise awareness about climate change.

Allison Hazel better known as Ally Hazel, is an NYC based music journalist and content creator. She got her start in the industry as a publicity intern for Republic Records. Allison later transitioned to journalism and founded allythejournalist.com, a well-known blog that covered the intersection of underground and mainstream music. Throughout her career, she has written for Global Grind, The Source, Billboard, VladTV and more. Allison holds a B.A. in Mass Communications from Delaware State University. She is also a member of Women in Entertainment Empowerment Network (WEEN) and the National Association of Black Journalists.​
