Jenny LaJoye Jenny LaJoye is a folk/pop singer songwriter, violinist, and vocal loop artist in Denver, CO who believes everyone is made of the good stuff. They make music to remember what it means to be human, to find connection in a time of disconnection, and to feel something in a world gone numb. Teresa Suydam Teresa Suydam is a singer-songwriter from Denver, Colorado. She has graced the stage with the vocal group Lark, soulful R&B band Emma Mayes & The HIP, as well as electronic production duo Mom N Dad. Using her versatile voice, Teresa can reach the most graceful high notes and control strong, emotional low notes, while also being able to hit the dynamic runs and belts of a modern soul artist. Bianca Mikahn Bianca Mikahn is an emcee, poet, digital composer, cultural activist and educator. She is Executive Director of youth mental health-based organization Check Your Head and a Partner Artist with leading creative educators, Creative Strategies for Change and Youth on record. Bianca’s writing style is described as fanciful yet pragmatic, fearlessly addressing themes of self-awareness, mental health and community engagement. |

Panelists: Elle Naef, Co-Founder Head Room Sessions Elle Naef is the cofounder, curator and producer for Head Room Sessions, a nonprofit music series in Denver. Head Room Sessions has recently expanded its programming to educational panels, a television show and more. Elle has been producing shows since her senior year of high school. She's always been wooed by the feeling of bringing communities together to celebrate each other. Elle also has a passion for youth leadership training. During her summer she works as an intern program leader for Girls Rock Denver and Girls Rock Santa Barbara, and she works as a freelance mentor year round. Ru Johnson, Roux Black Consulting Ru Johnson is a consultant, executive producer and nightlife operations strategist. Owner at Roux Black Consulting, Ru specializes in taking clients from point A to point B, idea to execution with precision, grace, style and substance. Having worked in the music industry with a background in politics and capacity building, Johnson believes art is the revolution and our very living is the resistance. This is what Ru Johnson does. Who she IS, is a collection of memories, moments and serendipitous occasions. |
