Zoe Cummins is a singer/songwriter from Elgin, OK. Cummins quickly uprooted and moved to Nashville, TN in the summer of 2013 to be an integral part of Music City. Her debut singles "Well Tequila" and "Rope The Moon" have earned her a spot as a regular in some of the most prestigious venues in the world, including the Bluebird Cafe, as well as many tours and festivals throughout the United States. Cummins is currently recording a new EP to be released in the Spring of 2021. To hear more about her music, or find tour dates, check out zoecumminsmusic.com

Karina Daza is an accomplished indie singer/songwriter from New York. A bilingual nationally touring performer, Karina has amassed a devoted fan base with her jazz-tinged acoustic pop music, opening for major indie Latin acts like Silvina Moreno and Coast City. With a raw and emotive voice, the Latina songstress fuses her sweet distinctive sound with fiery blasts to create memorable melodies full of soul and passion.

Lord Goldie exists in an authentic space that fuses hip hop, soul, and rock in the underground Nashville music scene. Goldie has been well-versed in cross-genre storytelling since the inception of her debut EP in 2014. This multi-hyphenate raps, writes, produces, and offers creative direction and management services to indie artists.

Join industry experts and entrepreneurs from Chicago and Minneapolis as they discuss the current state of live music, where we can go from here, and how the current state of the music industry can support artists and professionals that otherwise would be currently employed from live events!

Panelists:

Sarah Zuvanich, Manager, Copyright Administration

Sarah graduated from SUNY Oneonta in 2015 with a degree in Music Business. After interning at BMG Rights Management in the Publishing Mechanical Licensing department, Sarah earned a temporary position in BMG’s Publishing Copyright Department. Sarah then moved into a full time position in BMG’s Copyright Department on the Song Maintenance team. She spent a year and a half working in BMG NY office before being transferred to BMG’s Nashville office in 2017. In 2019, she took on a leadership position managing the Song Maintenance team. Sarah’s team is responsible for maintaining BMG’s US publishing repertoire in our database.

Monica Copciac, Senior Manager, Copyright Administration

Monica grew up on rock n’ roll which instilled in her a lifelong passion for all things music, leading her to pursue a Music Business degree at Middle Tennessee State University. She broke into the industry in Copyright Administration at Bluewater Music where she managed her team in addition to serving as the Director of Creative Services. Within a few years she moved swiftly into an Events Management position at IEBA before realizing her true path was rights management. She set her sights on BMG where she began as a temp, and nearly 4 years later she has earned her position as Senior Manager of Copyright Administration in Nashville, dealing specifically with the setup of newly signed publishing contracts.

Rachel Knepp, SVP of Growth & Strategic Partnerships

Rachel Knepp leads Jammber’s growth team and strategic partnership initiatives. Since joining the team in 2016, Knepp has focused on client relations and ensuring that all of Jammber’s products truly fit the needs of music creators to help them get paid faster and more accurately. Knepp has been responsible for the launch and growth of music’s premier song splits app, Jammber Splits and most recently, spearheading partnerships and exponential growth for the industry’s first-ever white label, global split payments platform, Jammber SplitPay.
